Wine Tasting in Langhe
Our in-depth wine experience will introduce you to the wine traditions of the Langhe, offering two tastings each day, with a limited number of participants, ranging from an overview of the local wine culture to personalised blind tastings.
The Wine History of Casa di Langa
Casa di Langa is located in the Alta Langa Region which, after more than 20 years of study and experimentation by local producers, was awarded its own wine denomination in 2011. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, aged for more than 30 months on the lees, are the protagonists of this territory.
The wines from our wineries, Vietti and Enrico Serafino, change regularly to offer our guests new food and wine tours and an ever-changing wine list for our Fàula Ristorante and Sorì Cocktail Bar. Casa di Langa will also host special events throughout the year, from vertical tastings with the region’s leading wine producers to pop-up dinners with renowned chefs from around the world.
The Best Wine Regions in Langhe
Just a few minutes’ drive from our resort are two of the world’s leading wine regions: Barolo and Barbaresco. The Nebbiolo vines dominate the area and the surrounding hills, a Unesco Heritage Site, producing unique and absolutely extraordinary wines in just a handful of villages.
In the 140 years since the first glass of Barolo was offered to the then King of Italy, Piedmont has become a world-class wine region and our wineries bear direct witness to this legacy.
