Wine Academy

the Art of Wine Tasting in the Langhe

At our Wine Academy, wine tasting in the Langhe ceases to be a simple sampling and transforms into a sensory journey into the heart of the Langhe.

Participating in a wine tasting at Casa di Langa means immersing yourself in an atmosphere of intimacy and wonder, where every glass tells of the respect for the land and the passion for excellence.

The Alta Langa terroir: a DOCG heritage

Our estate is nestled in the Alta Langa region, a territory that in 2011 saw the culmination of decades of research with the recognition of its own wine denomination. In these lands, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay find their maximum expression, thanks to an aging of over 30 months on the lees that confers complexity and finesse to our sparkling wines. Choose our Langhe Experience wine tasting to learn and savour all the nuances of these noble grape varieties, alongside other expressions of the Langa terroir.

The best wine regions in the Langhe

Just a few minutes’ drive from our resort are two of the world’s leading wine regions: Barolo and Barbaresco. The Nebbiolo vines dominate the area and the surrounding hills, a UNESCO Heritage Site, producing unique and absolutely extraordinary wines in just a handful of villages.

In the 140 years since the first glass of Barolo was offered to the then King of Italy, Piedmont has become a world-class wine region and our wineries bear direct witness to this legacy.
